May 11, 2018.  Congratulations to our Class of 2018 graduating seniors, Allison Cutri and Aaron McLeod!!!  Both are off to Ph.D. programs in Chemistry: Allison is heading to Notre Dame and Aaron is going to UCSD.  Thank you for all of your excellent work in the lab!!

April 19, 2018.  Alli receives the "Chemistry Undergraduate Service Award" and Aaron receives the "Philadelphia Section of the American Chemical Society Award."  Congratulations to our amazing undergrads!

April 12, 2018.  Vignesh receives a Temple University doctoral dissertation completion grant.  Congratulations Vignesh!

April 12, 2018.  Allison and Aaron both give invited talks at the Temple Undergraduate Research Forum.  Congratulations for being selected as speakers and for giving excellent talks!

February 14, 2018.  Yun and Vignesh's paper on looking at the roles of hot carriers and thermal effects on plasmon-mediated electrochemical reactions is accepted in J. Phys. Chem. C.

January 27, 2018.  Vignesh and Joe's paper is selected as an ACS Editor's Choice manuscript and is now available as an OpenAccess article.  Check out the paper here!

January 5, 2017.  Vignesh and Joe's paper on using super-resolution imaging to visualize the impact of surface oxide formation on single silver nanoparticle electrodissolution is accepted in J. Phys. Chem. C.

December 4, 2017.  Phil Reinhardt joins the group as a first year graduate student.  Welcome Phil!

October 6, 2017.  Undergraduates Allison Cutri, Jeff Williams, and Spencer Yeager all participate in the Undergraduate Research Program poster session, and Jeff takes home Honorable Mention (and $150!).  Congratulations to our undergrads for their excellent work.

May 18-19, 2017.  The Willets lab visits Paul Holt's 9th grade science classes at Freire Charter School in Philadelphia.  The students made silver nanoprisms of varying size and color!

May 11, 2017.  Our Faraday Discussion on defocused imaging of gap mode SERS substrates is accepted.

December 22, 2016.  Willets lab wedding bells!  Lab alums Dr. Karole Blythe and Dr. Eric Titus get engaged (despite violating the "no dating" policy in the lab . . . ).  Congratulations to Karole and Eric!

December 6, 2016.  Our collaborative paper with the Zhang group on scanning electrochemical microscopy with optical feedback is accepted in Analytical Chemistry.

October 12, 2016.  Our collaborative paper with the Van Duyne and Jensen groups is published in J. Phys. Chem. C.

September 16, 2016.  Aaron and Allison participate in the Undergraduate Research Program poster session, and Aaron takes home top honors!  Congratulations to our undergraduates!

September 16, 2016.  The Willets lab bids farewell to Drew Wilson, who is heading off to a postdoc with Prashant Jain at the University of Illinois.  Good luck Drew.  (Beast Mode!)

September 2, 2016.  Aaron is chosen as a finalist for the Notre Dame Competition in Nanoscience and Nanoengineering, which recognizes outstanding undergraduate research in nano.  Congratulations Aaron and good luck in South Bend!
