Buckets and Beakers

Buckets & Beakers is an outreach program at Temple University that blends science and sport for an unforgettable day of fun. 

For the 1st iteration of the program in Spring 2023, the women of Temple Basketball teamed up with the Willets Lab to construct a set of hands-on, visually stimulating experiments for 5th graders from Paul L. Dunbar School to complete in the morning, followed by an afternoon of thrilling competition on the basketball court. During the program, Dunbar students have access to Temple’s world class research and athletic facilities, have the opportunity to interact with professional scientists, and get to hoop with Division I basketball players!
