Reactions at nanoparticle surfaces are influenced by a wide variety of factors: the substrate, the environment, the nanoparticle shape/size, the presence/absence of surfactants on the surface, the identity of any molecular analytes, and beyond. We are interested in understanding how these factors impact reactivity in both chemical and electrochemical environments, looking at both reactions involving molecules as well as the nanoparticles themselves.
